Here, the tying of the string around the wrist symbolized a wish of prosperity, happiness, and luck to the recipient. Jeremy looked on as his mother, Jane, placed a string around Melodie's wrist.

For our photo session, we headed over to Stanford -- the ever popular spot for elegant (and fun) wedding photos.
Here at Gamble Garden in Palo Alto, Melodie and Jeremy took a little breather before their grand entrance.

"The photos that Tony took of my friend holding her newborn nephew at my wedding were the first ones that I saw and they took my breath away. In fact, my friend's sister is giving them to her in a collage frame for her birthday! On the day of my wedding, I was specific with Tony about not wanting "cheesy" pictures and he did everything to honor my wishes and make me, my husband and all of our guests feel comfortable. We got tons of great shots. The pics are truly great. I absolutely love both the artistic ones (black and white with only a splash of color) and more traditional ones. The pictures taken during engagement session and rehearsal are also great. All are phenomenal. Formal ones turned great and Tony took every single shot we asked him to. Both our families and everyone's feedback was positive. All in all, this was out first experience with a professional photographer, so I am not sure what others do, but I sincerely recommend Tony. The value we got for our $$ was excellent. For this quality of pics an service, other asked for over $7K which we couldn't afford. Thanks so much. "Tony is absolutely every bride's dream and every bride's family's dream. Honestly, I am a bit of the rebellious type and chose a different photographer at first simply because my mom wanted me to pick Tony. I wanted to be the one to do the picking so I simply picked someone else just to be rebellious. Boy was I stupid. My sister was also engaged at the time and had selected Tony to be her photographer. When her engagement photos came back I was STUNNED! He took the most beautiful, amazing photos I had ever seen. He made my sister and her husband look absolutely beautiful with the most fantastic backgrounds. So, I had to check my pride in at the door and admit that I was being childish. I forfeited a $500 deposit I gave to another photographer simply to work with Tony and boy did I make the right decision. Not only is he clearly a true talent (he made me look better than I've ever looked), he was incredibly professional, always answered every phone call we made to him even if he was on vacation with his family, and responds to all e-mails promptly. Even though I did not even know him prior to this, he almost became like family because he was so calming throughout the whole process (he always has an aura of calm). If this wasn't enough of an explanation to the testament of his work and character, get a load of this! My husband's best man who is also his brother, fainted during the ceremony and hit his head, causing him to go unconscious and go to the hospital with a concussion. Thankfully, the best man came to, called us from the hospital, and let us know he was ok so we were able to move on and have a great time. Naturally, this unexpected event forced us to lose a bit of time for picture taking since we decided to not see each other before hand and to take pictures after the ceremony. I honestly did not think that anyone could possibly come up with good pictures with the time we had and with the sun going down, but Tony simply proved me wrong. They look beautiful!!!! Plus, I got to see them right away which really calmed my nerves on such an important day. He did this by plugging his camera into his laptop and displaying them on a screen in the dance room! My favorite photo of all the photos he took is actually from that session with Tony and it is framed in my living room! Tony is truly a gem. He is so desired that my friend, who is getting married in Italy, is flying him to Italy to photograph the wedding and she is picky! I guess she want to feel like a glorious runway model for a day too. :) Honesty, I don't think it can get any better than Tony. If you select him for your publication, you will not be disappointed.
