Saturday November 2008 ~ Erna & Gary's Wedding
"Hi Tony. Thanks a bunch; looking at these photos definitely allows Erna and I to sit back and reflect on the whole day, it was just a blur. We are definitely happy that you were able to capture our day."
Erna and Gary, here we are again. :) Curious why I wrote that? Well, this day marked the fourth time in a one year span that I've had the chance to photograph our couple. Odd? Not really. Our couple are the cousins of several couples whose weddings I've been part of and have been fortunate enough to photograph this year and last. One of the best things about being part of close friends' weddings is the comfort level of the families and friends when I see them again. And of course photos are at their best when people are comfortable.
Immediately after the ceremony, evening quickly approached and scattered rain began, light was dimming quickly. A great opportunity for photos? Absolutely. Our entire wedding party spent some time taking memorable photos outside the Ruby Hills Golf Club, and the glistering rain made for very beautiful night shots. A great group to work with, in spite of the weather, so thank you! :)
You don't have to look hard to see many familiar faces from previous weddings this past year. Our crowd here is undoubtedly the party crowd, all ready with drinks in hands.
