Saturday October 2008 ~ Krista & Stewert's Wedding
"Tony, these are fantastic! You are a great artist. You have a fantastic eye and and it shows in each photo. The candid shots are especially great. Each shot brings us back to that moment and truly captures the elegance of our wedding day. Your professionalism and kindness showed all day in the most hectic of moments. Thanks!"
When I first met with Krista and Stewert late last year for their consultation, something about this couple strike me as very genuine. We spoke in detail about plans for their upcoming wedding at the Palm Event Center, a site that's very cozy and dimly lit. Our couple expressed their wish to have their wedding captured and its intimate atmosphere preserved in photos. It was important for them to be with their families and friends in that beautiful and cozy setting without distractions or interruptions.
Fast forward a year later, surrounded by her closest friends, Krista relaxed and gathered thoughts about the events that were about to transpire. Sitting by the window, the soft outdoor light set the perfect mood for her preparation photos.
I loved this moment as Krista was prepped by her bridesmaids for that final transformation. In the next photo, the look on her bridesmaid as she watched her very close friend was absolutely priceless. It was clearly seen that everyone in that room was just as happy to be there on this day for our bride as Krista was for herself.
Before heading out to the Palm Event Center, we took advantage of the setting at the Rose Hotel for some photo opportunities. Here was our beautiful bride in her gorgeous wedding gown and soft long veil, along with the natural light shining through the windows, made for some awesome photos.
And of course, a party isn't a party without the congo line. Krista led the gang as the train grew and grew with everyone joining aboard to the beat of the music.
Before heading out, we managed a few last minute shots with our couple in the romantic setting where they were married.
